Spectacular Space

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

We are back with a new topic for this term....Space!

We are really excited to be helping Buzz Lightyear by sending him back to the moon using all the knowledge we gain in the term to fly him back in a new rocket and letting him know what mission he needs to undertake when he gets there.

Fly with us to the moon and journey to the outer reaches of the Solar System!!

Autumn 2

The Real Fairy Tales

It is going to be a busy term with Christmas around the corner. We will be travelling to the land of fairy tales in this half of Autumn and discovering what makes a good fairy tale and which familiar characters we will meet along the way!

We will be reaching up to the skies to visit the Giant in Jack and the Beanstalk and visiting Granny in Little Red Riding Hood with a basket of healthy food!  Who will we meet along the way...we wonder?

Year 1 are also looking forward to visiting the theatre to watch Dick Whittington and preparing for an end of term Nativity play for our parents to come and support!

Please find the topic web below for the half term below.
